From 2003 to 2013 I had the joy of joining Colonial Players’ beloved Annapolis production of "A Christmas Carol", portraying the Ghost of Christmas Present, Fezziwig, the Undertaker, and one of the charitable gentlemen. Staged just steps from Maryland’s State House, this 70-minute, no-intermission musical—created in 1981 by Richard Wade (lyrics) and Richard Gessner (music)—has surpassed 600 performances. For countless Maryland families, “it isn’t Christmas until Scrooge walks onto East Street.”
